If you look in our thread as we searched for L89 cars for MCACN last year pretty sure you will see the M.O. 69 Chevelle L89......also a picture of it in MCR.

Whatsup with the mandatory fire extinguisher at the left front tire. Are AACA cars that prone to exploding? Or is it a archaic leftover of earlier show car days?


What if someone brought a vintage firetruck to the show. Would it have to have a little fire extinguisher by the front tire even though the entire truck is essentially a giant fire extinguisher? [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/hmmm.gif[/img]

Steve, my guess is that the participants receive points for having the safety items. NCRS will give you points for a battery shut off and fire extinguisher.

It's an AACA rule Steve. Every entry has to have a fire extinguisher next to it.
