These shields are funnel shaped. I have also seen round tubed shaped shields. Can anyone identify on what engines the funnel shaped shields (like the ones on this "L89") were used? |

those funnel shaped shields look like the ones that were used on big block trucks in the 80's and 90's. they fasten using the manifold bolts.

----I agree, Paul! I have always felt those funnel style shields came on big block trucks. Not willing to rule all other GM couldn't have had them, but, to me,,,,,very doubtful.......Bill S
