Wow, that's really helpful.

We were at Disney with the kids several years ago and drove down to San Diego. We loved the drive along the coast... and want to see more of that! Sure enjoyed the atmosphere and mexican food in Old Town too. Sounds like Santa Monica is the place for us... Will checkout Shutters. Unfortunately the Clippers are on the road while we're in LA.

Donut Derelicts in Huntington Beach sounds like my Saturday morning destination. Sounds like we'll also need some beach time, so I better look into extending our stay by a day or so.

Dan and Mark got it down real good.
Biggest problem I had and probably many more do, you will NOT want to go back up north. I think Bart is a Midwest gut that stayed there too. Been to the coast once and Arizona 2x and did NOT want to come back east. Fast Eddie M. is another one that made his home in the Valley of the Sun away from this Pa. climate. Smart man!
