Re: Mander chevrolet L78 68 elcamino in long storage
the rally wheels are gone, i took them off right away, it now has vintage American Racing torque thrusts that i have owned for 40 years(i collect all vintage american racing wheels), the rears are custom widened to 15x9 3/8" and the fronts are 15x7, tires are 275/ 60 on rear, 215/ 70 on front
...yes , that is a real hemi cuda in the background( not mine) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...4650-photo.jpg <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Astock</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Very Nice. Re: Mander chevrolet L78 68 elcamino in long storage
there was another elcamino ordered the same day at Manders by the original owners good buddy, apparently it is the twin except for being dark green , it was raced at Mission in its early days...ran mid 12's (i dont know if it still exists) , my elcamino was never raced at the strip(only on the street)

Re: Mander chevrolet L78 68 elcamino in long storage
the seats were done in about 1970-71 by Casey(rip) in Burnaby because one cold winter day the orig owner got in and the seat seam split .
