Re: Going rate for a `67-`68 F Body?
I already have a G body, an `83 Malibu wagon which is affectionately known as "the hoopty". It's our #2 daily driver, and Rachel has more or less claimed it as hers.
However, I don't think she'd appreciate having to climb over a cage to make a grocery run. It will be getting a mild small block transplant shortly (currently a wheezed-out 229 V6), I just need to get the small block on the dyno first. I'm needing something (cheap) I can put a cage in and pound on mercilessly. I emailed the guy with the Nova, haven't heard back yet though. There's a nagging little voice in the back of my head telling me to look at a Fox Mustang, but I just can't bring myself to do it. |

Re: Going rate for a `67-`68 F Body?
I wish I could swing something like that, but that's definitely well past any budget I can put together right now.
FWIW, I recently missed out on a decent `67 Camaro project car a business acquaintance of mine had stashed away. I've been pestering him off & on for several years to put a price on it since he admitted he wasn't going to be able to do anything with it any time soon. Long story short, a couple of months back he sold it to a "buddy" (for a song & a dance I might add) who promised him he was going to fix it up...it was on CL the very next day. Some things just aren't meant to be. edit: still haven't heard back from the Nova guy yet. |
