The way I see it, you can't touch a stock 1969 Camaro coupe project around here for under 7K. This is a pacer convert LOL

It is also an "early" Pace Car. Most of what I've seen (or had) were closer to the date of the race.

The only stress relief he'll have is when it's done.....lol </div></div>some people achieve relief when they're working on the car!

A vehicle shipper report showing delivery to the Chevrolet Zone (25 Indy) would be Golden on this car.

Wow, that is a heap (sorry to the buyer), not a sign of any RS equipment, tail panel is non RS, grille is non RS, tag is definitely real and never been removed from the firewall, but just about everything around it has been reworked over time, tops wasted, 68 seats, dyed? interior panels. How's the floors, looking at the rest of the interior I would think its probably a little rusty? That's a 40-45K restoration job without farming it out, probably close to 100K if you have to farm it out. Lotta work there to bring this one back with 0 chance of anykind of payback other than self satisfaction.

I say do what makes you happy. I feel that the restoration process is more fun than the car done. Once it is done, you are afraid to drive it anyway!

I'll inform my friend to immediately bring it to the junkyard. Obviously, and from what I'm reading, cool cars that need total restoration aren't worth saving.
