The Marine pans won't fit a Chevelle chassis. I think the only chassis that they'll fit is the Corvette and even that might be a stretch. |

Aluminum marine pans typically won't fit the 1968 Chevelle. At one point in time I tried to install this 1968 GM pan in one of my Chevelles and no way was it going to work. And they also lack a provision for the dipstick as well. Charlie

No problem. I picked that one up a few years ago to install on the big block that will go into my Model A project.
If anyone plans on using one of these, p.n. 47552 fits the two piece seal and 47552A is the later, one piece seal. |
