I guess at this point, we should be glad that the folks at Motion, Yenko, Harrell, Nickey, et al (including Royal, Spalding, etc.), did what they did so we can enjoy them now.

What shop did you/do you run? I did some running around in Monroeville...

Re: Motion convertible

In one of the MP new car displays shown in Cars Mag, there was a Corvette convertible.
I'm going by memory, but I think it was a white 68 or 69 with a roll bar. It was not the subject of the photo but was in the background.
Those MP displays, such as at the Nassau coliseum car show, MP would have a mix of new customer cars and MP sponsored race cars, so its hard to say what that car was.

That is the car I bought off of this site and frame on restored. It was a white car new Joe, and there is always the possibility it was the car in the photo you are talking about. Couldn't really find much on that car. Took a stab at how it might have looked. Definitely was fathom blue at one point in its life. Very interesting tidbit on that car. It had a 350 engine in it when I bought it, but not just any, it turned out to be a 1972 ZR1 engine! The article attached in this thread is about as inaccurate as it gets. Article was not done when I owned it. First and foremost, Tom Billigens car was not a clone! That is the car that the rear tire came off, along with the rear quarter, a month after it was finished!
