I think it will be difficult to find a doc'ed L34, or especially an L78 for 30k that has much of the correct parts and is a road ready driver.

A very well done/restored L78 will push 50k plus to build with a ton of variables. The cost to build will exceed the sale value pretty quick. So from an investment stand point, you'll probably be upside down.

If I was going to build a scratch Nova now, I'd start with a non SS car, and build it like a late 60's, early 70's street machine. Way cheaper, and probably closer to a neutral cost ratio on build, to sell. JMHO
