I enlisted in '85. Started off at $560/month as an E2. I've had a few promotions since then.

Not really. Looking for a place that focuses on musclecars.

Thanks

Sure thing.

Bought it in 2007 while I was finishing up a 15 month tour in Iraq. Came from Richmond, IN. Spent its entire life there; was sold new at Wells Pontiac. Was a decent driver when I got it, but really needed to be done right.

Some minor surgery... Used OEM quarters on the car. Fit better than NOS.

Darrell has done a few of these cars to concours gold standards and is pretty sharp on the details. No hardware store bolts here; just replated OEM stuff with correct foundry markings.

Color primer.

Jody Haag did the M21 (upgraded with M22 guts). I normally build my own motors, but this one was built to Pure Stock Drags specs by Jim Lehart in Burke, VA. Jim's a die hard Pontiac guy and the motor was breathed on as much as PSD rules allow.

Thanks, that's good to hear. Pretty sure that's where the car will end up.

Yep - proceeds from the sale of the gold 69 Judge (and the 66 SS Chevelle, 68 hemi Roadrunner, 71 GTX, the other 69 Judge, the 66 Fairlane, etc) went towards the resto costs!

The AACA Museum is a great place but it won't work for what he wants. I've loaned cars to them also but they change their displays about every 6 months. The only way they would keep the car for any lenght of time would be if he was donating the car to the museum and I don't think that is the intent here.

Possibly the Tim Wellborn museum? www.wellbornmusclecarmuseum.com
I know he's mostly a Mopar guy and most of the cars are his, but I believe he will accept other cars too.

Great stuff.

Hope to see you at the 2016 PSMCDR. This car will fit in nicely with the quality of cars at the pure stock drags. (not kidding like a car show where everyone gets in them show cars and races them.)

Ryan

PS: Pepper green is sick. (If sick now means really good)

I also would highly recommend Floyd's museum. Your car will be properly displayed in a nice clean environment and wont sit off in a corner dusty and neglected. Floyd has the same passion and appreciation for high horse muscle as the rest of us, and as stated, he is a great guy.
