Please inform your Convert Chevelle owner that there WILL INDEED be some really awesome 1969 Convertible Chevelle`s at NOCC.....he will NOT want to miss this show.
Have him register ASAP......40 1969 Chevelle`s and counting [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

Thanks for posting those. I'd be interested in seeing pics of the trans and rear axle stampings next time it's convenient. I see they stamped a D on the end of the trans code on the pop. Might be the little symbol or mark on the end of those that they saw and thought it was a letter. I wonder what the one on your trans looks like?

I believe it's a Gillcrest photo, it's not marked though, so I'm not 100% certain. Its on some old heavy stock paper and looks to have been around since the day it was taken. No date on it anyplace.
