Dan, now that I think about it I didnt have to take the kick panels out either on the 70.

Get the 8578 -- much easier to work with ... just peel off the strip you need. Store in a large zip-lock bag and it will last forever. Available at any good autobody supply ... The TAZ

The 8578 works great for heater boxes but I would NOT use it on kick panels for many reasons, expensive being just one of them since you would have to ball up MANY strings to fill in the large gap. One note to pass on, DO NOT put it on the heater box cover until you are SURE you are done and will not remove it. It makes a horrible mess if you ever have to remove the part as it sticks to everything and turns into a very stringy mess upon removal. Ask me how I know.....

Use the Duct seal as Rick suggested for the kick panels, it's a no brainer, Home depot has it, ask if you do not see it, it's there.
