Re: Pic's of my L79 Nova back in the day
What times did it run at the track
|
Re: Pic's of my L79 Nova back in the day
Stock it ran 13.10..........and with cam and a crossram and 4.88 gears it went a best of 11.83......But....At the Grove I had to run against Tony Christian in his 57 and he was running 11.50's.........so , I changed classes by changing to a single 4 BBl .......actually a Z-28 intake and a Holley 3 BBL (set up by Bill Bretz) and the car ran 12.10 all day long with that set-up.......

The photo taken from the back window looks like the inside of a '61 Pontiac Catalina or Ventura bubbletop!

Yeah, it's a '61 Pontiac but the seat cover design looks like a '61 Bonneville and the pillar trim is brite aluminum, the Catalina's and Ventura's had painted trim. |
