For 10K? Not unless you want a high mile "beater." |

A 1973 SS nova!

Re: So, if you had $10k to spend...
a 66 or 67 Chevy II sedan. There's a blue one on RJunk than can be bought under 7K without the motor. Would be a sweet ride with an LSX swap

Re: So, if you had $10k to spend...
There are some VERY interesting full size '60's Pontiacs that can be had for under $10k. Catalina's GP's, Bonneville's. You can get some pretty deep rides for a modest amount of cash in that area.

Re: So, if you had $10k to spend...
Just about any 72 or earlier 2 door hardtop. Post sedans would be my second choice. It is getting very hard to find these cars at 10k or under any more, believe me I am looking. Mustangs, Falcons, Comets, Darts, Dusters, box Nova's...you get the drift. Kids are even paying up for the 6 bangers in those body styles. My 2 cents

1980-1981 Z28.

Re: So, if you had $10k to spend...
You know, $10K buys an awfully nice '72 Firebird
http://www.memorylanemotors.com/pics.php?id=377 The Rally II's dressed it up nicely, IMO. (Shameless plug, lol:) |
Re: So, if you had $10k to spend...
For $10K, I'd say that's quite a nice car, Tom. If I had that much, I'd buy it!
