Re: radio delete antenna plug
Hello,
That part should probably be 4805843 11/16" PLUG front body hinge pillar antenna hole and many other places on Novas, Camaros, and Chevelles. I know the 4805844 3/4" plug is reproduced in a technically version with correct part number. Not sure on this on 4805843 as I have only seen the ones with out the part number. Greg |
Re: radio delete antenna plug
Does anyone know who sells the reporduction plug for a camaro? Or does anyone have a good original one they would want to sell?

Re: radio delete antenna plug
Is it really "radio delete"? I thought radio was an option and base was "no radio". Just one of those little things that bugs...

Re: radio delete antenna plug
In those days a radio was not standard equipment. However in De Loreans' book about GM he stated that dealers were pressured by the Zone to order factory Delco radios. They had gotten in the practice of installing aftermarket units [usually Motorola] for cars in dealer stock to add a bit of profit.
The plug was also used on cars built with a rear antenna. |
