Re: 68 MP Motion
----Used to go to Mid-Ohio back during that period for the Can-Am's. You are correct,,,the noise was unbelieveable. We would usually sit at the end of the long straight and you could hear them coming and then letting off and braking for the off-camber turn at the end of the straight. Heaven!!!.......Bill S

ive watched this vid sooo many times. best part is at 2:00 in. the M8F sucks the F1 car into its NACA ducts and rips past it in the blink of an eye. the days when a BBC powered car obliterated the lap times of F1's. |
Re: 68 MP Motion
I beleive the 1968 Motion drag car "466" engine was a .060 over 427 block with a 4" aftermarket stroker crank.
Today most people would call it a "468" BB Chevy same as a .060 over 454 BB Chevy but the actual cu. in. is about 466.9 |
Re: 68 MP Motion
4,44 bore and 427 crank = 465.730488cu/inc.
Can Am 465 engine. |
Re: 68 MP Motion
