Re: Looking to Trade my 72 T/A for a 73 SD455...SOLD
Steve, I'm sad you sold the T/A, sadder I couldn't buy it, but thrilled that we will have another restoration blog from you to follow. I love the Macguyver (SP?) aspect of your work!

</div></div> yeah, you could buy one of those expensive chrysler cars with the drop-top and the gills in the fender everybody is talking about....waaaaiiiit a minute sorry man couldn't resist. |
Re: Looking to Trade my 72 T/A for a 73 SD455...SOLD
Been there...done that, four times in a row! (383 auto, 440+6 4-speed, 440+6 auto, and ended it with the 426 auto)
I think it's another Pontiac for me. or a Buick...or Olds...or a new kitchen if my wife finds out why the garage is now empty. |

I vote for resurrecting the viper and going racing with it.

Re: Looking to Trade my 72 T/A for a 73 SD455...SOLD
But where would I put all the stuff laying on top of it, then?
Racing is waaaay too expensive nowadays. 20 Years ago when we lived in Florida I used to drive down to Sebring and race the whole day and spend around $25 for the SCCA entry, plus gas. Dodge would send us free parts, and BFG used to send us the tires for free. Oh, the good old days... |

That was the Tor-Red/black leather, billboard car with two tags full of options and all original drivetrain. I still have the entire restoration album for that car and I've tried to get it reunited with the car several times over the years but the owner doesn't seem to want it.
