Update #2 From Nancy:

Dr. just spoke to me. Spinal block did NOT take, so had to put her way under which they try not to do at her age. He said he didn't know how she has survived the pain. There was nothing left of any of the joint. Another hour or two in recovery. THANKS everyone for all of your prayers, well wishes, and positive thoughts. Now my job of rehab and care giver begins. Got to get her ready for our F.G. Memorial Car Show!

Not a problem...

Morning update:

Not a very good night. Comp. from being put under so deep. Only 1 or 2 hours of sleep, but today is a new day, and will be walking! Thanks for letting everyone on SYC know n.g."

Helen, once you are feeling a bit better...expect a call. The worst is over and now the healing begins!

Then you will be doing this

Probably not on your end as we also could not get through.

Thanks for the updates Bruce. Glad to hear she is doing ok. Thanks to Nancy for taking very good care of Helen. I am sure she is beat too.
