Yeah, don't like paint. Maybe just shoot the Stinger hood, Oly Gold with Dover White stripe. Keep the flat patina hood for shows and cruise night.

Just can't see painting this hood. A little wet sand every now and then to knock down the heavy stuff, then hit it with some BoeShield [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/headbang.gif[/img]

Ha ha Chris, you crack me up! Ive got tons of lacquer I could paint that bad boy with! Only two coats like the factory though. Cruise on down anyway!

Ok, that wasn't too tough. First time pulling an axle, Jeds over the phone instructions made light work of swapping out the backing plate.
