There is a thin line between having a pretty nice survivor or having a real nice repainted car. Maybe does not need to be restored, not crazy about restored cars anymore but to paint? Why not? Can always paint it lacquer were it will not shine as much.

The base coat clear coats seem to be more shiney than the original lacquer jobs it seems to me.

That line gets even thinner at public shows, going out for a burger and in the garage with the bicycles.
