The carrier looks like a newer updated HD unit that has the press forged gears in it, not a COPO unit.

Can't see the numbers on the ring so I can't comment on that.
If it came from Jim, the ring and pinion could be correct.
I know that he had several sets of correct 226/228 gears at one time.

The added "C" I will refrain from approving or disapproving. All that I can say from personal inspection is that I have several "BE" rears in the data base that used the 341 housing and had assembly dates between 0806 and 0925 that did not have the added "C".
