Re: 1970 L78 Camaro
Rick, apparently you have some inside info. on this car. That is one of the best things about this website. There are so many people here that know so much more than me !!!!
The small fee for the admission has saved me many wasted time for some cars that are not what they seem to be !!! Thanks Rick and SYC"!! |
Re: 1970 L78 Camaro
Apparently, It is possible to have Z27L78 on the tag.
There is more to the story on this car but I would rather discuss it off line for those interested. Rick H.
Rick, did you get my PM? Would like to hear the story as I have seen it. |
Re: 1970 L78 Camaro
Bottom line is you can not build a car like this for what the owner(ME) is asking. i purchased the car from the states(Wyoming) came across saul ste marie boarder. and had the car soda blasted at proctor & fishburn in hornby ontario as for the tag it was on the car when i got it.. what i seen was 3 people with the same tag l78 z27(florida,memphis,tennesse,) and the car has a r/s front end on it. And for those who already replyed to as the add reads i am selling this car as a restored camaro (unfinished) in any of my adds it does not state numbers match or correct. the car was intended to go racing and driving to local cruise nights (Not Barrett Jackson). I Hope i did not offend anyone on the site but you should only comment on vehiceles that are seen in person and there only been a hand full of people

Re: 1970 L78 Camaro
I have looked at many Norwood 1970 SS Camaro’s and I have never seen a trim tag stamped with the Z27 option till 1971.
And the Norwood cars that did have the Z27 were not stamped like this one…… |
Re: 1970 L78 Camaro
thanks for the input. but for what i am asking for the car you can not buy one for the condition that its in. it would cost you more in labour and running around to get a camaro to look like this.

Re: 1970 L78 Camaro

Todd </div></div> Todd.. A guy out here has a documented L78 T400 car and I believe there is a orig invoice for a Scuncio car with one also. |
Re: 1970 L78 Camaro
Here we go again.........
and NO I'm not sending a dime to Charley to prove/disprove anything. However I will contribute $500 toward Steve Shaugers expenses. Car must be inspected per Mike Steitz and Jack Seymours list of items. I cant post my digital copy of the alledged SCUNCIO invoice as I cant access my PB account. Darren told me that it was PhotoShopped ???? |
