[/ QUOTE ] Andrew, I dont think that was a naive attempt on XBALDWIN MOTION'S behalf but moreso an outlining of the way he likes the stripe to look. That car if I'm not mistaken was used on the Baldwin Motion site as a concept. Once you refine the stripe on your car I think you will get better criticism. Dont take the opinions of the guys here to heart. There are a bunch of good guys here that are willing to help you and give advice, XBaldwin MOTION(Chris) is a good guy just a traditionalist when it comes to MOTION as are a few others here. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif |
Re: Motion concept
My apoligies to you & especially Chris,
The way I am, Is I am passionate (about cars & Design) & all I ask for, is Constructive/Informative critisim. My problem is I have been on the Camaro5 website too long, & I wont totally slam them for not giving me Constructive critisim, but most of the time It's either look & ignore, or "I dont like that" no reason why! So again, sorry for acting like a jerk. As far as refining the stripes goes, I have done that, & It is in Joel & the planning teams hands. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif PS: It wasn't a naive atempt, & I appreciate the help & advice. |
Re: Motion concept
Chris,
Sorry Mate for being a jerk! I respect your Traditional Motion Ideals. I wanted to revamp the original Arrow point stripes to fit with the new look of the Gen5. What I sent to Joel recently would be right up your alley!!! It was his. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif |
Re: Motion concept
Andrew, do you have any pics of what the refined version looks like? The group of guys here on the SYC most of them will tell you what they think and in no way is it meant to be malicious. Then there are others who will bash. It happens everywhere. Your doing a good job!! Dont let anyone person deter your passion.

Re: Motion concept
Thanks for your words! As per the refined version images. I do have some, but out of respect for Joel (& the planners at Motion) I can't show them yet. Also they are close to the original (protected by "Copywrite") Motion Arrow point designs, so I want their permission first. A big tease I know!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif
