LOL.

I seriously don't for the life of me know why this event isn't televised by Speed for everyone to see...or is it shown somewhere I'm not aware of?

Would make for some great TV... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Look at what's on TV these days. It takes faux Drama to entertain the peanut gallery. You won't see that at the SCR.
Just REAL people with REAL cars having REAL fun! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

I hear ya...and I totally agree about all the drama...but did you catch the Optima Street Car Challenge last wknd on Speed?
That was a no BS,no drama event with guys just thrashing their cars and having fun...same as SCR.
I for one think it needs coverage,I'd sure like to see it from the comfort of my living room enjoying a cold one. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

To get it on the TV people's radar...you have to think at least a year ahead of time! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

More Ink for the sYc and the SCR.
I had not heard of this magazine before, but it looks like Bob McClurg has. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

Here is the whole article, and just so that all of you should know, Caleb did NOT drive his car down the track. To set the record straight, that is Dave McGaffe (grumpystoy) behind the wheel. Kinda hard to tell with the helmet and all. One other detail that wasn't fact checked was the number of SCRs that have been held. I don't think "edition 23" is correct. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

Since they aren't identified in the caption, that's Frank and Caleb Arone working on the car, and Mr. Yenko, (Brian Potter, the MOF), lurking in the back.

Here is the rest of the article. That's Amy Dayton of ARS Productions, looking pretty in pink. The t-shirt was a one-off gift for Donna Mae from Brian Henderson.
