I apologize. It was very rude of me. Welcome to the site! Ed

Sometimes we speak or type before we think things through. It is nice when you see someone that recognizes the error or their way and is big enough to post an apology.

This is not the first time I have seen like type comments on many Internet boards. People sometimes feel that these web site should be a closed social club for a select few to banter on. We sometimes forget what truley DRIVES these web sites and keeps them alive and that is new members, questions, and comments.

I often will join a web site to ask a question of what I hope will be answered by people knowledgable on that particular site, and never again return. Sometimes we are just curious about something but have no interest then pursuing it any further. We should not critize people for it. That is the beauty of the Internet the info is out there.

How true, I once joined a Buick website (really could not believe there was a site for buicks!!) to ask about a dual quad wildcat 'vert that was for sale locally and apparently they had been talking about this car world wide for months!! Luckily I found out it was a mish mosh of parts!!

Thanks Algore for inventing the internet!!

Wow. Pretty sketchy description for an all original 1 of 201.

"No expense was spared in its beautiful restoration"

Odd that they don't mention history or owners since these cars are pretty much all known. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

I just got the BJ catalogue and the only thing I can add is that the Z16 is from the collection of Louis "Kayo" Erwin Jr. of Chattanooga Tn. He has consigned 20 cars to the auction. Out of room.

For those that don't know, The info in the B-J descriptions on line are typically what you find on the 8 1/2 X 11 card on the windshield of the car during the auction. It is a limited description due to space and are generally highlights the seller has given the auction company.

However, at the auction itself the sellers are allowed to have additional information on display as well as mirrors under the car, etc. just as you see at car shows. For REAL buyers that attend the auction with intentions of buying they usually have all the info they need to make a decision. OTOH, there are also a good number of cars there with nothing other than the window card and no seller around you can identify to ask. Sometimes this is because the car may have questions the seller doesn't WANT to answer, sometimes a dealer with many cars there and is also buying many cars and has no time for it, and sometimes it is just inexperience of the seller.
