I totally agree, but at anywere near the asking price it likely won't sell. My comments were directed at the poster stating they think it is a $35K car. At that price it will part for more.

This one has been listed for several months and I am told it can be bought for $70K. Service replacement block, but info back to original owner.

For the difference in price why would you spend the money and a year of your life restoring the subject car when you could be driving and having fun?

May not make sense financially, but some prefer wrenching more than they enjoy driving. I have a 68 RR hemi clone that's "done" but it normally sits in the garage while I'm turning wrenches on something else...

That is true as well, however I think when people have a choice of buying something that they KNOW they are going to be buried in vs. buying a done car that they are not MOST will choose the latter.
