Jim,

thanks for the links https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

What in your opinion is a "good" price for that ride?
I know... nobody have seen the car and nobody knows the technical condition...

it is hard to tell from the pics but it does not look like a car that was always in a garage ... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

do a search on ebay to see what they are selling for

I have been looking for a late second gen Z, and for $6200, that doesn't look like much of a deal, sorry.

Do some craigslisting and I bet you find a nicer piece for a better price.

Jochen,

I was also looking for a 1979-1981 Z-28. It was the second car I owned back in 1981. I was a senior in high school and I traded my VW Rabbit for a slightly used 1980 Camaro Z-28, dark blue with baby blue stripes, cowl hood (functional), with dark blue interior. I had GT qualifiers (tires) all around, and a nice stereo, tape player, amp, and 6x9's. My girl friends could hear me coming down the road https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif Man, I miss that car. Only car I really wish I would have kept all these years.

I like that style / generation of Camaro's.

Keep your eyes open, there are some nice ones out there! Oh, if anyone here in the states see one like I had be sure to let me know!

I went to look at a 64 Impala 4 dr hdtp... black over black 2 owner with looks to be 14 k miles, parked since 1984. Will post pictures tomorrow... and a necked out 69 Camaro parked in 1988 on Sunday and on the way passed a 78 Z brown over tan with original paint etc and the 5 spoke painted wheels. looked to be complete but needs a resto... they are out there!

If you really like these year cars and want to import one from North America (also spend more $) check this link about a 15,000 KM (9500 Mile) original '79 Z28 auto, non-T-Top, w/ original tires, original paint etc in BC Canada that hasn't been put on the market yet but soon will be..

Good luck w/ whatever you do!.
