Re: Anyone know this car?
Bruce, I'll send over some information on the car as it is a pretty cool story over the years. As Bill says the car has some great stories behind it.
Here is a link to photos I have uploaded in the gallery for your enjoyment. Overall the car is in much better shape than when we sold it in 1981 as somebody did a body off restoration on it. There is a lot of detailing that needs to be done, general clean up, chrome, fasteners, tires, etc. It will keep Dad busy over the winter. Guy we bought it from added aftermarket power steering and brakes, electronic ignition, gauges. He gave us all the original parts except the brakes which he did not keep so that we can reinstall. https://www.yenko.net/photos/showgallery.php?cat=615 |

Bill -
I forwarded the story and several of the "stories" to Bruce. I am waiting on the "after" pictures once Dad has done some clean up to post everything. Will you be able to make it to the "unveiling" next weekend? Here is a picture that shows a little of the underneath. Car still has the 4.56 in it and we think the original trans. https://www.yenko.net/photos/data/615..._trip_0941.jpg |
