I covered mine with some 70's vintage shag rug, added a pair of Craig wedge shaped speakers and then finished it off with an "Official: Ken Tibor Bobblehead Doll".

touching up a scratch for sure does not work stands out as bad as the scratch...I have tried dozens of rattle cans..cheap ones to custom mixed ones...my next attack was going to be something from Wesco auto body supply and reduce the crap out of it...the rattle cans lay way to much material down. I dont have any old ones to test on, forgot to save a few out of the beaters I parted out.

Joe is right a repop is better than a rattle canned original at this point.
