If they originally had the "fingers" built in, you wouldn't have needed the recall strap/cable to hold the motor down when the mounts broke. Now the $64 question is, when did these mounts really start being used on the assy line?? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

I believe I had a recall letter on or about 1970.

What happened to the auction? Were you not happy with the bids? Must have been a reserve after all.
