I recently received a copy of the Hamilton's family home movies, which contained some neat footage of this car racing, as well as Red Alert.

The neatest part of the video has to be where Bob is shown surprising Dorothy with RA, and then showing her behind the wheel. I had wondered if RA as a gift for Dorothy was actually a true story, well, it appears so.

-----I think thats my favorite picture of Bob with any one of his racers. As mild and laid back a guy as he was, he was a fierce competitor. Had he ever gained any real backing (factory?) he would have gone a long way in drag racing.
