Rick...your car is beautiful! Did you choose to change the color when you re-painted it? Looks to dark for Cortez Silver now, looks more like Shadow Gray which looks really good on a 69 SS Chevelle. Back in '86, I had no interest in leaving Cortez Silver on this car, didn't "jump" like other colors. I liked Shadow Gray, and that's what I picked.

Since basecoat clearcoat finishes have gotten better over the years, I may consider a return to the original colors, but not anytime soon. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

Rick...Your Chevelle is WAY cool! I love the fact that you've kept it all these years...and that you are still so passionate and involved in the car world. With all of the judging/helping out that you do...it's amazing that you still have time to take pics as well!
