Where's Mr Weaver's cape?
He was undercover until Chicago. Lol
A big thank you to Guy Amato for his awesome restoration on my driveshaft..it looks great
Doug, thanks for bringing this car to the nationals for us to see. It's a wonderful gem clearly in the right hands. The color combo REALLY comes to life in person. I enjoyed our brief chat and...my daughter, Allison, will be receiving lessons on "decision making" for choosing the bounce-house over a once-in-a-lifetime chance to sit behind the wheel of the Superman YS 760. Shameful. Also, I may have gotten chills talking to John, the original owner.

John...glad you came and we chatted. Your daughter is a cutie !!! I always enjoy getting kids behind the wheel !!! Kids are the future.

GOD what a gorgeous car... I loved seeing it the last 2 days and talking to Doug and Frank... the attention to detail -- is above and beyond...
down to installing the rear emblem and then removing to install the spoiler so that the scuffs from the emblem nuts are present on the inside of the decklid... SERIOUSLY... I spoke with Frank about it --- this is what separates the best from the rest !!! |
James...thanks for stopping by and shooting the breeze ..we are working hard to achieve every small detail. Hope you made it home safe.
Doug - it was really great meeting you and to describe YS760 as "spectacular" would be an understatement! The level of detail put into the car by you, Frank, and I am sure others, is simply off the charts.
It is well worth the time and effort to bring this car to life again.

I had a chance to see the car at Fredrick as well and it is just a stunner. Can't wait to see it completed at the MCACN show. The color, options and detail very well done....

Will the car be at SCR?

Hello JH ...I would say not .. it is not finished yet.. looks like it will debut at MCACN as it’s first official show .
We are working on finalizing flight arrangements to have John Weaver and his wife Robin come to MCACN ...very easy flight that is direct out of Pittsburgh.
