It really bugs me to see a restoration with a no name battery in the car. If you have the money to restore a car, doesn't matter Ford, Mopar or GM, you should at least try to put in a matching battery.

It’s strange, some will not bother w/ battery’s, rad caps, plug wires, I’d say battery’s and rad caps are the most common.

I can’t tell you how many times I was asked, IS THAT THE BIG BLOC PONTIAC ENGINE?
I just say yes now.

I get a kick out of people saying that in 1966 a Caprice couldn't be ordered like this.

I dont mind what other people do to their cars..its theirs...i dont like people trying to pass off something that isnt what it really is..

heres my pet peve..theres always one..he's walking around with a small audience, walking from car to car, and explaining whats wrong with the car, he's usually some type of addict..mostly alcohol, he uses his arms and hands, hes always squatting, and the drunker he gets the louder he gets...and his audience is just hanging on his every word, and he has no clue what he's really talking about...and he is looking at every person around the car, to see if anyone else will join his cult...i wanna strangle those dudes..really..just choke them out..

Wow, a Smokey And the Bandit car, my buddy used to have one just like this. Does it have the 455?

Yes, it has all that butt wipe.

I respect everyone's right to express themselves through their vehicle and how it looks w/o criticism
But there is one thing I always speak up about. When someone pedals their bicycle up close around the cars @ a car show/cruise,be they young or old.
I've seen so many door & fender incidents that in some cases,I've stopped going. You have to literally stand next to your car to protect it,and no one wants to do that all day.
Many spend hundreds,if not thousands of hours & God knows how many dollars getting their cars to how they want them to look,so to me this is just a complete lack of respect for other people's property,as well as ignorance.

I was at the Super Car Reunion a few years ago and a couple with their kids comes by looking at the cars. One of the kids opens the door and is getting in my car. I had to stop him because his parents didn't.

Several years earlier I was at another show and a friend of mine had his '38 Chevy sedan there. Some parents and their kids come by and the kids open the doors on this guy's car and get in one side and slide across the seat and out the door on the other side. Parents didn't stop them.

I was at my home town show a few years ago and had my car parked at the bottom of a hill. Some kids were riding scooters down the hill straight at my car and another car. We ran them off once but they came back later. I had to get the police to make them stop.

I've got 2 door dings and several scratches on my car that all came from car shows.
