Re: 57 Nomad Project.........

Thanks Guys............A little update.....After starting the car it was noticed that the Alternator wasn't charging.........Ended up I had to put a ground wire from the alternator to the block.......charges fine now.....no fuel line leaks.......Added transmission fluid......everything Good......Made an appointment at the Muffler shop to get the Exhaust system installed......Then we have a problem..........Started the car and let it run for a while to check out the cooling fans.......Look under the car and coolant leaking .....Damm........Ended up being the Concept1 Billet thermostat housing leaking where they put the Hose Tube into the body.........called them and they said that they had a problem with them and changed the way they manufacture them to eliminate that problem........the "Big" problem is that the housing is buried under everything and I had to pretty much remove everything to get at it........4 hours later I got it off and waiting for a new GM one to show up............Darn........I was all done and now the car is in pieces again.......Gotta push the exhaust appointment back to next week........

Isn't nice how they "knew about" the problem but didn't do a damn thing about warning everyone who already bought one? Did they refund your money and give you a new updated one?

Are you sure you didn't buy it from the New Yawk guy that sold you the yellow Impala?

".4 hours later I got it off and waiting for a new GM one to show up" ... stock parts from the General are most of the time the way to go -- "pretty" parts sometimes really suck (or leak in this case)! TAZ
