Re: Harry Mann 68 L78 / L88 Camaro
Call Whitepost and tell them about the sand blast marks. Someone on the repair line obviously did not read the instructions you gave that it was a survivor unit, not to be refinished (or read it too late). On mine, they masked off the openngs and only blasted the ports themselves. The exterior was completely untouched. I think they owe you at least a partial refund for their mess-up.

Just wait a week or two and see if you can tell.

Now that the Nova is on its way to being completed, I can get back to a couple of other "projects" I have on the docket.
Here are a couple of pics of the holes in the dash of the HM car, assuming this was for a tach. Does anyone have an idea as to what tach and / or mount that would have been utilized? Thanks, Tim http://i1043.photobucket.com/albums/...psnmiqexon.jpg http://i1043.photobucket.com/albums/...psttvsx4np.jpg |
I would say a Stewart Warner 970 pedestal tach. 2 holes to mount the foot and one for the harness.

Hot lap around the neighborhood and time for an oil change. Who knew something so simple could be this enjoyable. Shaping up to be a good day!

Yep, here you go. This is the greenline style. There were also other face styles.

Are the mounting bolt holes about 7/8" on center Jason?

What a set up! This car is BAAAAAAAAAAD!!!! Have fun!

A bit less than 7/8 but I think it would mount with that spacing.
