Nice hit!
What was the 60'? A rear sway bar will help some, an aftermarket ARB would be the best solution. |
Re: SOLD my 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan
Thanks guys. Eric, had my best 60' yesterday of 1.77, otherwise they were a consistant 1.8x.

Cool...looks like a 12.21 pass?

Re: SOLD my 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan
Bruce, I ran a that pass.
I'm not sure why but everyone seemed to be running slower that day. When I was at SCR15 the car ran 12.15@115 and I was spinning in first gear....the temp was in the upper 50's at Byron compared to August weather at Joliet. I thought for sure it would be in the high 11's on Saturday. Kurt |
Re: SOLD my 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan
A stiffer spring, such as a Moroso and/or a air bag would help plant the right rear (level the front).
You may have been hooking too good. At times a little tire slip is not a bad thing, as it allows the engine to operate within the RPM range where it makes the most power. |
