If you ever get a chance to see extremely rare nacreous clouds in person, in all their pearl-like beauty, be sure to whip out your camera—stat. These iridescent clouds form when stratosphere temperatures fall below the ice frost point, so they’re only usually seen in places like Antarctica or Scandinavia.

Holy screw-up! In the wake of being cancelled by ABC after three seasons, the super-campy crimefighter series was on the verge of being rescued by NBC… until it was discovered that the sets had already been destroyed! (Biff! Pow! indeed.) Not wanting to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to rebuild, the Peacock passed.

I always liked the "Flying Buttress" roof. Thought it was a great styling cue.

How Long Does Pizza Last in the Fridge? According to food safety expert Janilyn Hutchings, StateFoodSafety food scientist and certified professional in food safety (CP-FS), pizza will stay good in the fridge for three to four days. To help ensure freshness, Hutchings suggests storing it in an airtight container rather than refrigerating it in the box it came in.

Originally the Pontiac RAIV 400 did not get it's name from a sequence of RAII then RAIII. Initially Pontiac engineers wanted to offer real ram air for the 1969 GTO. So they "borrowed" a page from the Olds engineers with their 1967 W30 RA setup and went one better.

The proposed RA setup was to have two outlets behind the front grille and in addition, the two hood scoops. 2 + 2 = 4. . . RAIV. But in the interim, they beefed up the 400 a little and called it a RAIII. When the 4 inlet RA setup was not approved, then it became part of the sequence. If it had been approved, there would not have been a RAIII.

This 1968 GTO ad ran in magazines for just one month. The reason was it promoted street racing and Pontiac pulled it after being read the "riot act" about agressively promoting an illegal sport.

Looks like a radial tire, or is that what FGB means?

I tried a similar arrangement for Chevy pickups during my stint in vehicle development.

It didn't work.

We couldn't figure out why, until we "smoked it" in the aero chamber. The air was going in the outboard side of the inlet and then coming right back out the inboard side of the inlet, without going into the ductwork.

Aero is sometimes very non-intuitive, which led me to state "...you never know until you smoke it".
