The hoods on these cars are now bringing $6000-$10,000 for the hood alone WITHOUT the chrome inserts which will add another $1000-$3000! If only I had known. :( I have had a few of these over the years.

Those Impala SS 427's are some of the coolest big cars of all time. Never had one, but always wanted one. Used to go to a cruise at The Grove in South Hills of Pittsburgh and there was a black on black one owned by a guy I kind of knew, and that thing was a beast. Total driver that sounded nasty.
