Thanks, Danno! I appreciate the compliments and if Chicago were closer to Texas, your daughter could ride with Kelly in the new arena that's coming next week! :cool2:

And we could be buried in the shops not really doing much of anything since I'm planning on having a beer tap in there somewhere!

Cheers
Dave

Looks amazing, great job.

Wow, that looks great! I'm looking forward to see what you have planned for the shop.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the compliments. I’ll post final photos later this month and this will end the barn build!

As far as the shops go, I won’t be going this crazy, that’s for sure. I’ve got the two buildings to do, but the big building is I’ll focus on first. My idea in there is More of the industrial look, so there’s going to be exposed a/c ducts, large beams, etc. Although the walls will be finished. I’m thinking one bay will be a spray booth and parts mezzanine on top like I had before. But I’m still thinking of what I want layout wise.

Last update to come!

Cheers
Dave

I would be curious as to what you’re finishing your inside walls of the shop in. I just finished my shop and have yet to decide love to hear your ideas. Thank you

We have 2 buildings that are finished inside. The one is a 30x45 that has the same metal siding as the outside. It is insulated and metal on walls and ceilings. Looks nice and no maintenance. The other building is 56x75. Morton did it and it has a sheet of osb and then metal above that and ceiling. All insulated. I think morton does farm shops like that in case you damage the wall its easier to replace and the wood helps with the noise level. We painted the osb once about 10 years ago and it still looks good. Doesnt wipe down as nice as the metal.

My new building is a Morton 30x40. They quoted me smartpanel and metal but not sure considering OSB

Is smart panel a perforated metal?
