Did you put the sealer into the pipes before clamping them together? I think Gardner includes some with their kits - their stuff is Top-Notch BTW. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

It's just a tube of clear silicone they give you with the system. I didn't use it because it takes time to get the different pipes together and adjusted so it all fits right. Then when it's all done, I end up readjusting it a couple more times. I figured the silicone would harden long before I'm happy with the fit, so I didn't use it. If I find that the seams leak, I'll pull them apart one at a time and use the sealer.

Funny you mentioned that Tom. I was just thinking about that.....I'm ready. I put the new gas tank in. It just needs some fuel in it, and the engine also needs water/anti-freeze, and I think I'm ready to give it a shot, and see what happens.

I like to go over the whole car and be sure every thing is done, bolts tight, fuel lines, brake lines, etc. Then it's just a matter of a few different kinds of prescription quaaludes to keep the stress level to a minimum.....and turn the key.
