This took place in a parking lot on VNB. People cruised and they parked. We understood from him that is wasn't "new" it had been going on for some time apparently, how long would be hard to tell. The world and Van Nuys Blvd was a different place back then ... There was no machismo "turf" / gang bs, just all types of car people showing their cars and cruising ... There were the low riders, the hot rods, street machines / muscle cars, the custom vans (wrassle castles) and the jacked up off road trucks, quite a spectrum of interests |

My brother-in-law and I went to Van Nuys Blvd for the cruising scene - and I have a <span style="text-decoration: underline">LOT</span> of pictures from that night. I'll have to scan them and post here some time.... |
