Remember so many were upset that you decided to restore it..... silly :-)

Congrats on the finished product. Great looking car.

Nothing makes a restoration stand out like going to the great expense of putting OE tires on a car. Fantastic work on a great car and a great story behind it.

love the the work and the detail.....

Perfect example of when passion and talent intersect.

Saw the car last night a MCACN. Unbelievable!:worship:

This is another one of those cars that pictures just don't do the car and the workmanship justice. You really need to see this Yenko Chevelle in person to appreciate the beauty and the craftsmanship that went into building this beautiful car! Rick, this is undoubtedly the nicest Yenko Chevelle in exsistance and you and your crew should be very proud of bringing such a rare and significant Chevelle back to all its glory. I've been patiently waiting to see this magnificent car since the build thread ended and let me assure you that it didn't disappoint! It was great to talk with you, have a safe trip home, and thanks for bringing this beautiful masterpiece to the MCACN show.

cook_dw 11-24-2019 07:59 PM

Completely agree. I wanted to take a few moments to talk with Rick about the amazing job on the car but wasn’t gonna interrupt conversations. Great work sir.

The car looked great. I came by several times to talk to Rick, but never got the chance to see him. I did get to see Ann for a minute.

SS427 11-25-2019 03:56 PM

I wish you guys had interrupted the conversation as it would have been great to talk with you. Thank you very much for the compliments. Annie and I were taken aback by all the comments on the show and how well the car was received. We were very humbled. She deserves the credit as had it not been for her stepping up to the plate and purchasing the car I would not have had the opportunity to do the restoration and consume my life's savings in the meantime. Money well spent and an adventure for sure. There are dozens of people (mostly members here) who played a role in the car's success and offering their help and knowledge. For them were are eternally grateful. We have some truly great friends here at sYc.

Annie was very shocked to win the Leading Lady award thanks to Tamra Perto and MK Insurance. Thank you Tamra!

Thanks for stopping by and seeing the car Lynn. I only wish we could have put up a table and chairs for you like the last time.

Thanks to the team at MASCAR for choosing our car for their Sponsor's Pick at this years MCACN show. Very honored. (no harm was done to the paint in the taking of this photo ;) )

NorCam 11-25-2019 08:56 PM

Congrats to you and Annie on the hardware Rick. Car was looking killer and missed you when I stopped by on a couple of occasions. I wished it would have been featured in it's own corral as I would have liked to have seen more of it from all angles. Outstanding car.

Very well deserved.

Thanks Graeme. I did try to get a stand alone booth like I did with the 68 Yenko Camaro but it was not available this year due to lack of space. It would have been nice though as my tech really wanted to show off his brakes he had done and we would have liked to put the (Ken Tibor) made stands under it like we did for the Camaro. However, we had a great time where we were positioned so all was good.

Slob44 11-26-2019 12:26 AM

Rick, the car looked amazing in person. Congratulations and thank you for taking the time to show us your incredible work. I think I took 100 pictures to help me in my project.

SS427 11-26-2019 12:33 AM

I told anyone that asked, the keys were in it and to help themselves and take what ever pictures they needed.

67since67 11-26-2019 11:54 PM

Congrats to Annie and Rick!!! :youguysrock: So good to see you both, I'm glad we had the chance to chat on Thursday before the madness set in!

ZAPPER68 11-27-2019 05:26 AM

Rick it was such a treat to finally connect with your after nearly 15 years... and what a bonus for Sandi and I to finally meet Annie. To top it off, catching up with Oliver and Vonnie as well as Bruce and his family was 'icing on the cake'.

Congratulations on your award(s)..they are truly well deserved!

A12pilot 11-27-2019 09:06 AM

Man, Rick. What can be said that hasn't been already said except "UN-BE-FREAKIN-STUPENDOUS-LIEVABLE"!!!!!! There...I don't think that has been said. :eek2:

Incredible car, humble owners, and THE definition of meticulous work!:headbang:

Nice meeting you and see ya next year!

Cheers:beers:
Dave

SS427 11-27-2019 11:43 AM

My young 21 year old buddy Jordan from Canada took these after riding shotgun on the way out of the MCACN show and I thought I would share them. Pretty cool nighttime photos. Thanks for taking them Jordan and spending some time with all of us. So nice to see all that muscle car enthusiasm and knowledge coming from a young man.

Woj 11-30-2019 01:11 AM

I was wondering who the young gent was taking picture after picture of your car. It obviously hit a chord with him. Glad to see someone so excited about a car twice his age. I hope he pursues his passion with these cars. Phil Woj
