Re: Day 2 parts discussion
I bought a box of 4 of these center caps NOS in the box off Ebay for $88 a few years back. I am looking to have a 2 sets of 15x4 first design super tricks custom made to work with these caps for both my restored drag cars.

The look like they will replace the lower control arm for a GM A-Body....Chevelle Cutlass GTO Skylark. If you get a center to center measurement, I can compare it to a set I have. Kurt |

Thanks guy's! Here is another good one. I was told they came right from Bill Thomas, but I don't have anything concrete to back it up. The guy I bought it from knew nada. In fact, I was surprised he mentioned Bill Thomas. I'll try to scan the paperwork later..... I'd like to say they are even date coded correct for my Camaro...

The 3 were window art that I have framed to hopefully preserve. The others, hung inside the dealer. The large aluminum framed one is from 69 and the light ups are from 1967. I have all the individual 68's , but have run out of room to hang them. BIG |

Re: Day 2 parts discussion
Hey guys...I have a question about the Mickey Thompson valve/aftermarket covers...GM provided for the most part a baffle of sorts in their valve covers for obvious reason I suppose but what do you do if you want that day 2 look with those covers, or any of them really, that don't have the baffles? I remember I bought a set of Cal Customs in the 70's and with no baffles and just push in filters there was always a big mess to clean up every so often. What are you all doing to correct this or are you doing anything? At my age I really don't want to be cleaning ALL the time.
