The Smart city-car brand will soon cease operations in the U.S. as its single model, the Fortwo, goes away after the 2019 model year.

Smart, which is owned by Daimler, had already stopped selling the gasoline-powered Fortwo in America, restricting the lineup to include only the electric model starting in 2017.

Times Square got its name when The New York Times moved its offices to the area in 1904. Even when they relocated in 1913, the name stuck.

The world's second-largest fast food chain, KFC has a total of 22,621 locations in 136 countries. The chain started mega-small in 1930 when its famous founder Colonel Harland Sanders snapped up a Shell service station on Route 25 just outside North Corbin and began selling fried chicken and other diner staples such as country ham and steaks to hungry travelers.

Omidyar wrote the code for the site at home in suburban San Jose, California, over Labor Day weekend. The first product listed was a broken laser pointer.

----Keith,,,I notice that your 63 has the front fender location. Is it adjustable from the interior? I have always wondered about 63 and 64 Pontiacs with door mounted mirror's as to weather they were correct. My old 64 421 HO 4-speed had twin fender mount remotely adjustable fender mirrors. I also think no 63 or 64 GP ever had 421 emblems anywhere on the body.....Bill S

Yes - the remote (front fender mount) mirror is adjustable via a little "joystick" under the dash.

Door mounted driver side mirror is the non-remote location. No RH side mirror of any type was offered, so if you see one of those some one down the line added it. Also - the "no mirror" condition was base. The LH standard mirror and LH remote mirror were both options starting above that.

'63 and '64 B cars certainly had the 421 emblem on the fender as shown; I "think" the Grand Prix followed suit but I would have to verify.

He neglected to plan for an opening to get the car out so he hastily increased the size of the pedestrian door on the right - with an ax - in order to go for his first test drive.

Back then you didn't buy what you needed; you made it. Spark plugs, engine components, etc - they weren't commercially available.

Henry Ford built his first experimental engine using scrap metal for parts. He tested it on the kitchen sink after supper on December 24, 1893. For ignition he ran a wire from the ceiling's light bulb. His wife, Clara, hand fed the gasoline to the intake valve while Henry spun the flywheel.
