And those of us who have been lucky enough to have ridden in one of these warbirds and even those that have not need to remember, flying them around at 5000 feet a minimal speed is a FAR cry from those guys that were flying them at 35,000 ft where it was likely -30* below zero and at 250 mph. Between the noise, the cold and being shot at I cannot think of too many things I would like to be doing less! |
