Re: Day 2 Vega
Hemicolt, I think you could make one of those hoods. Might be a steep learning curve but you've got skills. DO IT!
I remember a Colt with a 440 called "Killer Bee" that ran quite well. Never saw one with a Hemi though. Talk about a badass ride! |

Thanks for the vote of confidence.
I spoke with my friend who works at the helicopter factory, he said the vac. process to do this isn't very hard at all. Having an oven big enough to heat the sheeting is the issue. May end up being able to make to scoops without having a big oven. On the Hemi Colt, I want to build a replica of the Rod Shop car for the street. Here is the one being done by the guy who owns Pro Glass. Says he is doing it for Nostalgia Pro Stock class. |

Re: Day 2 Vega
I spoke with Jet-Hot and was going to send my headers in to be coated white, and the fellow I spoke with said they were no longer offering that color.

Re: Day 2 Vega
Not all jet-hots did the white color. check with Schonye as he found one that did my headers for my Nova (about 3 yrs ago).
