the KG is a "staged" picture ... he borrowed some angel hair for smoke for the rear tires ... and painted twin "rubber" strips as well ... he owns an E39 M3 now, and is still active in autocrossing the top photo was a 50's night at General Motors Institute in Flint MI, taken in the driveway of the house we had rented across from campus, ~ 1973 68 302 Z28 (MO) engine in the 56 210 with a 62 Corvette Rochester FI on it ... I just ran across those plates after all those years ... NVY 302 ... my neighbor worked at a Secretary of State branch and got them for me, pseudo "personalized plates ... e<span style="font-weight: bold">NVY</span> my <span style="font-weight: bold">302</span> ... somewhere there is a similar picture of the 56 ...
