The reason I ask was I was curious about the 4 blade prop in the 1st photo. Based on that I new it was very late production. The -5NL used the -32W, 2300 hp 2800 , 200 HP more than the last variant, and has a two piece nose case that you can see in the 2nd photo.

The really cool Corsair is the F2G Super Corsair! That came with the 3000 hp 28 cylinder R-4360. Bob Odegaard (built the wings for the MN CAF Red Tail P51) was killed in this airplane in North Dakota in 2012 leaving only one flying Super Corsair in the world remaining.
