I always enjoy your pictures and the commentary that comes along with them. Your efforts are appreciated.

It was in a best of three shootout with Roy Baddie's 70 GS Stage 1 and lost two to nothing. The two cars were reunited at the show. S. Merryman owns the GTX now.

Roy Baddie owned the GTX back in 1984. Richard Lasseter still owns the Stage 1 Gran Sport which is affectionately known as Ol' Blue.

Thanks for posting all the fantastic pictures Myron, I was there and somehow missed several of the cars you posted!

This car was in the Maple Leaf Muscle Invitational so I believe it was a Canadian sold car as well. B. Boyles had this car at the show.

This was a little confusing to me, we had this car in the Maple Leaf Muscle Display but it was sold new in the US, it was placed in this display as it was a near twin to the car beside it. The restorer Ward Gappa is the nicest of nice guys!!!

Thank you so much Myron for sharing your photos faithfully. I always look forward to them, especially in the years I don't attend.

I thought the car was sold new in San Jose CA, but being in the Maple Leaf Muscle Display made me question that.

Thanx again! Your presentation is stellar, and makes a bit more bearable for those of us a half a dozen states away.
Those recent Cuda pics from similar perspectives provides a great tool to choosing different options that appeal to a perspective buyer, like vinyl top, spoilder etc.

Myron/Ryan,

You guys are exactly right about the origins of both Sassy cars. While this display was intended to celebrate Canadian cars, once Ward and Barry decided to bring their car out Bob thought it would be a good idea to place it next to mine. Bob called it a “Can-Am display within a display”, where people could compare the different ways these two cars were ordered. Not sure if this ended up being confusing, but in any case I was honored to have Barry’s killer car parked next to mine. And Ward is indeed an awesome guy. Anyway, thanks Myron for the great pics and excellent commentary, you’re spot on as usual!

Cudino (Wade)

What is the Canadian history behind your car?
At first look I thought it was the car that came from Montreal but it appears to just be very similarly equipped?
